Meet Cici & Ted

Cici & Ted's wedding celebration took place at Mount Palomar Winery on a warm, cloudless day in Southern

California. The wind was blowing slightly. Balmy breezes provided just enough cooling to enrich an already heightened atmosphere.

The "Vibe" was a joyful mix of unmistakable fun, family & friendships.

Cici & Ted met when they were kids, growing up in the same neighborhood. They met again years later at a community event. Ted is the Director of Admissions for a private school in San Diego & Cici is a college professor.

Set in the hills of Southern California the wedding guests enjoyed this sprawling vineyard, as its classic daytime glow transitioned into a seemingly endless night. It was a timeless scene forming the perfect backdrop as 2 families came together.

Both the bride & groom are “foodies.” Mount Palomar Winery is known for its excellent cuisine. Of course everything, especially the wine was amazing.

The flowers for the wedding were a stunning cross between emerging fall flowers & late summer blooms. I suggested that they use the same flowers to adorn & surround the cake. The combination of leaves, ribbons & flowers was very unique.

The color palette mixed blush with touches of gold & amber. It was chosen to show that late summer & fall decor can come together well. As Cici said, “...blush is the new black.”

One of Cici's closest childhood friends was Ted’s cousin. They asked him to officiate & he did an excellent job mixing humor & light-heartedness with the solemnity of the occasion.

The bride’s daughter acted as her Maid of Honor. It was a beautiful moment watching her walk down the aisle & equally as touching when she spoke at the reception. There were lots of tears.
